...I have published a new version of the program that writes the configuration file to another location and therefore the problem you reported should be bypassed.
If you want to try again you can find it on the same download page (now the version is 1.0.1.1002)
http://www.tltools.it/Ciemmesoft/download-mdbtodvdp-program/

Thank You! I am right now in the middle of something else, but I will of course try with the new version as well in better time, and will then let you know how things went.

Why would Invelos react to this? DJ Doena's CastCrewEdit had done the same from IMDb for years without any reaction.

Very true.

Well, if there is any Invelos staff still around, this tool will certainly get their attention. Will be interesting to see what, if anything, will be the response.

The last post I found from Ken Cole is from September 2017, so this seems to be a wayward ship, still floating and passengers alive, but crew looong gone.

I wouldn't expect any reaction from the Invelos staff. Maybe they are keeping busy with something more worth their while.

... never mind (was going to report a problem...) but I apparently missed something with the configuration. I'll comment on my experiences later on. Thanks for sharing your software!

EDIT: I managed to get my TMDB key, but when I enter it in the program, I get error message "Unable to write to C:\Program Files (x86)\Ciemmesoft\MDBtoDVDP\MDBtoDVDP.INI". No matter what I select as my paths for "Database backup archive DVDProfiler" or "Database location DVDProfiler" on the settings tab. There is no .INI-file on that location. The search for any movie title therefore doesn't work now.

Hello Gunnar,

I ran into following problem with v3.19.6 (copied from error-dialog)

Quote:
ProfilerQuery 3.19.6

NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
  at ProfilerQuery.MainWindow.RunENDED() in C:\Users\User\Documents\Visual Studio 2017\Projects\ProfilerQuery\ProfilerQuery\MainWindow.xaml.vb:line 233

Maybe this tells you right away, where I should look for solution? I use Win10, DVDP 4.0.0 build 1762. I don't have "Visual Studio 2017" and I don't think I ever did.

I had exported from database (blu-rays only) to Collection_blu.xml (only content needed in "Presentation"- see pic below) and opened this file in ProfilerQuery:

Main selection (as you can see 1794 blu-rays loaded):

Presentation:

... clicking on "RUN!", I get the above error message and only the following 5 entries are found:

Any help is greatly appreciated if you know what might be wrong. Thanks!

New version is available.

As usual, it can be found here.

Also just noted this change with role names and came here to report - and it has already been, not only reported, but taken care of  Thanks, Karsten!

That was it - Thank you very much for your help! I tried lots of different combinations, varying upper and lower cases, but apparently not that one

Where did you find this, by the way? Are these listed somewhere online?

Not sure how this relates, but when an HMTL window displays DP NAME="MEDIA_TYPE" for a 4K disc it shows as "4K UHD".

Thanks, greyghost, I tried "DP_MediaType4KUHD" plus a couple of its variations, but to no avail. I am trying to use this in javascript like this (question marks there is the part I'd like to find out):

Quote:

if (DP_MediaType???) {document.write("<img src='C:/Users/Mika/Pictures/DVDP/ultrahd.png' width='128'>");}
else if (DP_MediaTypeBluRay) {document.write("<img src='C:/Users/Mika/Pictures/DVDP/blu.png' width='128'>");}
else if (DP_MediaTypeDVD) {document.write("<img src='C:/Users/Mika/Pictures/DVDP/dvd.gif' width='128'>");}
else {document.write("Other media");}

It works otherwise, I would just need the name for that one element...

In my desktop DVDP I am using HTML-window, where I use different mediatype-logos based on media type. Problem is, I have no idea what DP_MediaType-element to use for UltraHD releases... I have tried e.g. "DP_MediaTypeUltraHD", "DP_MediaTypeUHD" and "DP_MediaType4K" (and some other guesses) but haven't found the working version.

I know it is "DP_MediaTypeDVD" for DVDs and "DP_MediaTypeBluRay" for blurays, but does some of you know what is it for UHD?

Thanks in advance!
