I think the idea behind this thread and it being allowed to stand is that it shows the level of frustration of those who contribute quality scans and profiles just to see someone like Barry come along and attempt to screw it up. Barry did the 2nd update (of 4) to the original profile (he did NOT originally contribute it... and FWIW the last update was mine!) and NEVER contributed an image (vote 666 was original images contributor, bredatle was the person who updated them).
Not only is he sad enough to want recognition for his old submissions, he's so sad he wants recognition for other people's submissions! I don't know the details of this particular profile but there was a time when there was no such thing as a contribution 'thread' on IVS, so it's possible he contributed before then. I did zip wrong or at least not knowing of it?
I paid for profiler years ago unlike the ones that like things free I'm not one of them!
I recently upgraded from 2.4 to 3.0 & discovered all my contributions were gone.
All I did was send a note to Invelos letting them know which profiles I originally submitted.
If I messed up on one or to? it's little hard to remember years later if I was 1st or 2nd contributor?
I did not send any new profiles or scans in months & months so not sure why your saying I did?
All I was looking for is to be credited for my hard work or should I say time I put ithru the years.
Why should others now be able to come to 3.0 & get credit for others hard work time "Contributions"?
Skipnet is a piece of work going around talking about me & that I want to see my name in lights.
All he does is submit & submit to see his name & everywhere I go he's there & not just on Invelos.
Way I see it I did zip wrong & if others feel I did? not sure what to say.
No sense replying to me as I don't have time for this petty stuff or to keep checking into forums.

Stay well guys! I guess I'd have to ask you whether you actually compared the existing scans to the ones you were contributing. If you had, surely you would have seen hat they were of a smaller size and/or lower quality. If the answer to that is yes, and you contributed them anyway, then that is what you did wrong. If you inadvertently contributed scans without realizing that the existing ones were better, then you need to spend some time understanding how the contributi0on system works to make sure that your contributions are actually improving the main database. I, for one, will give you the benefit of the doubt......this time. | | | | Hal |

Stay well guys! This sure sounds like you are contributing simply to get your name attacked to the profile. Sorry, but that isn't a good enough reason especially if your contributions don't improve the existing profile. I have created quite a few profiles in my day. When the database was moved, a lot of people uploaded those and 'got credit'. So what?
