I got one right before Christmas.  The advantage of waiting so long was that I was able to get 1080p for a reasonable price.

The poll is missing the "Yes and No" option for dumbasses like me who trusted the sales person and bought and EDTV thinking it was and HDTV.

Actually 2 of them.
Just recently upgraded the living room one and retired the old one to the bedroom (lightning killed the 14 year old bedroom TV)m.  Now we've got 1080p.
You should probably clarify whether its EDTV, 720p or 1080p in the poll...

I'm getting a nice 37" LCD with my next paycheque. Took this long to find a 1080p set that does a proper job with SD!

I bought my first on Saturday, a lovely little 32" Toshiba....the perfect size for my apartment. It looks just fantastic...of course I went back the very next day to get an upconverting DVD player because the DVD just wasn't up to snuff in 480P after seeing what my new TV looked like connected to my Expressvu 9200.

I bought 46" Sony last december, but only 1080i. I didn't want to pay the extra price to get 1080p. I opted for the bigger size in stead of the higher resolution.. The highest resolution currently available to me is Belgian HDTV at 1080i. DVD player doesn't go above 576p. Maybe I should have waited to more months, than I could have had a 1080p for the same price, but there wasn't an ounce of patience left!

Ditto.

Will be replaced when prices on 'Full HD' screens at 50" are non-crazy.

Same here, got a TH-42PV60. It's only 1024x768 though, will wait for the prices of 50" full-hd screens to drop before replacing it.

I have 3. A Samsung 42" DLP I bought a couple years ago, and 2 Hitachi 42" plasmas that are multisystem. All 3 are only 720p/1080i though. I just got my Panasonic blu ray player 2 weeks ago so this is the first time I had any hi def stuff on any of the televisions.
