All failed the same way, they play for an hour or so then freeze. You can look at the playing surface and see a lighter color, irregular shaped ring on the outer area of the disc.
36 Hours and Air Force are part of a Warner Box set from 2007, Operation Crossbow is also a Warners disc from 2006. Warner is known to have a lot of bad discs from this era. |

None of them show any visible signs, just won't work and that's trying multiple standalone and PC based drives.

Out of 24 discs, 7 discs only play the first episode, towards the end of second it stops. Can't watch anything after that. 4 are not recognised as a disc. They were fine when I originally wztched them about 3 years ago.I contacted them, communicated my problem and that the boxset being only 3 years old. All discs are marked as manufactured by Dexter Audio which Volume Two are not, and those discs are fine. They told me they are investigating the problem. I think I blew my money. |
