Okay. I always asumed that the envelope is that flimsy paper cover with the plastic front hole.

We used to have a pinned thread that clarified the various case types, with pictures. That would have helped here, but while the thread's still there, inexplicably still pinned even, the images are gone, so it's of not much use anymore.

Envelope. I have several of them,. They were free gifts that came with the Railway magazine's I buy.
