Still same error, the D:\Git\... path is also still in it.
Weird. Also happens when you start EditIMDbToDVDProfilerCrewRoleTransformation.exe directly?

Seems like you already added the most important changes of these new imdbe versions of Director & Writer credits?!
Everything I found during testing. Let me know if there are more headlines I'm missing.

Yeah you can't really edit the old posts after a while, so it's stuck.

| Honest question: Compression algos also get more advanced and effcient. Could it be that in the 10 years between these releases, the compression algo had become good enough that you actually don't see a difference and yet it yields a smaller file? | Posted: Topic Replies: 4, Topic Views: 332 |

You leave for Canada for merely three weeks and everything's breaking down!
Try the new version!
Note: It also comes with an extended config file for the mapping between IMDb and DVDP because IMDb added headlines like "Directors" where it always used to say "Directed by". | Posted: Topic Replies: 711, Topic Views: 68097 |

To add to this problem, I found out that the program is not able to parse more then 250 to 300 names in both cast and crew. Therefore, NO movie with that many or more members will get parsed in its entirety. This problem is quite new, but adds to the problem i mentioned before.
yeah, unfortunately that is the problem I described here:
Quoting DJ Doena:
Quote: Yeah the problem is that IMDb switches more and more away from the classic (i.e. 1990s and 2000s) way of delivering web pages and switches more to the modern load-more-data-as-required style that is in use almost everywhere nowadays (and for good reason). For example if you have a chat app on your phone that's mostly just a website disguised as an app and when you see the three dots when someone's typing that is this modern dynamically loading of new elements into the webpage.
Unfortunately for us the same is true with the crew data. The website I get delivered from IMDb only contains the initial bulk load of data and any browser would then be able to instruct the web server to deliver more data. Unfortunately I cannot simulate this. | Posted: Topic Replies: 711, Topic Views: 68097 |

| Hi LowPro, please check the readme file for the Browser switches and try a different browser plugin. That's where the error arises (CreateWebViewControlHost) and for some reason some browser plugins don't work for everyone which is why I added this option. | Posted: Topic Replies: 711, Topic Views: 68097 |

| Aside from the backup feature, I see almost no advantage. I remember the days 10 years ago when I added the TV show disc profiles to my collection database and how long it took just to add the profiles and measure the runtime. And for what? Just to have the movie play after starting up a media center instead of grabbing the disc from the shelves? | Posted: Topic Replies: 16, Topic Views: 9890 |

Have you tried to store the app and data on the Microsoft OneDrive path? Then it will sync across computers.
Quoting agent_bitter:

We already encountered this problem with anime shows that have more than 50 episodes in a season that just seems to get cut off. I haven't found a way to fix this yet.

If a crew member is listed under a differend name, this differend name gets used as the role of the member,
can you give me a concrete example to look into this?

Just a technical note: I just tried to add the German Dune: Part Two (5051890-337610) because the profile was unknown in the search. When I tried to contribute it, it already had two contributors and when I did a manual refresh of the profile, it downloaded after all.
I deleted the OnlineList.dod and OnlineListSel.dod re-downloaded them and now it appears in the UPC/EAN search. | Posted: Topic Replies: 8, Topic Views: 9545 |
