Here is a tutorial on setting up syncing.
https://www.invelos.com/iPhone/DPConnect.aspx?page=0

Syncing updates the most recent data to both systems. So if you make a change on your PC it will make that change on your iPad and vice versa.

Also check your antivirus software. Turn it off and see if it makes a difference. If it does, then adjust the settings when you turn it back on.
In addition, make sure you typed the server name in properly on your iPad. It is at the bottom of the Windows DVDProfiler window. You can use the IP address instead, which is also at the bottom of the window. Try them both. One may work while the other won't.
If you have an iPhone, see if you have the same problem connecting. It may help you diagnose your problem.
Finally, make sure DVD Profiler is open and running on your PC when you try to connect.

I was referring to backing up your DVD Profiler database so you can restore it later.

Check your DVD Profiler settings on your iPad and make sure "local network" is switched on.

Also make sure your Windows PC local network is set to PRIVATE. See below on how to do this.

First, make sure you have a current PC database backup.
Second, does this happen only for a few entries or for all of them? Does the same thing happen when you upload from your iPad and then download to your PC?
Third, you are much better off syncing your iPad directly to your PC. Have you not tried this?

As far as I can tell, DVD Profiler is working the same under iOS & iPadOS 26.4 as it did before. If you discover any new problems, please report it here.

I finally got around to upgrading to version 25H2 of VMware Fusion Pro on my M4 iMac. Seems to work well with DVD Profiler. Here are all the details about installing and using this version.

First make sure you have Local Network selected in the DVD Profiler app settings on your iPhone.

Also make sure your Windows PC local network is set to PRIVATE. See below on how to do this:

iOS 26 works fine on my iPhone13 mini, but I did notice some odd behavior on my iPad Pro when in Windowed Apps mode. First, there is some overlap at the top menu with the system clock, etc. Second, when I swipe up to quit the app, it sometimes moves it to the side instead of quitting. You can still access the top menu by clicking a bit lower on the menu but it's tricky. You can also quit the app via the red x button. Neither is a killer, but annoying and a sign of things to come. Both can be eliminated by not using the Windowed Apps mode.

iOS 18.7 seems to be working the same as before. I think I'll wait upgrading to iOS 26 for now, but my fingers are crossed.

Just a reminder for Mac users. You can run DVD Profiler on your silicon Mac using VMWare Fusion Pro for FREE! This gives you a lot more functionality than what you have on your iOS device alone. I've been running it for about 6 months on my M4 Mac with no problems. Check it out!

Just make sure you upload your iOS database to the online database and then download it to your "PC" BEFORE your sync your iOS device to your "PC".

Updating VMWare Fusion Pro is a bit odd but nonetheless works fine. It's also nice to see that they are routinely updating it.
Following the instructions in my previous post, you need first to shut it down on your virtual PC and then on your Mac, delete the VMWare app from your Mac and then install the updated version on your Mac. Once installed on your Mac, run it and then update VMware Tools from the PC menu. Works great and it's FREE! What's not to like?

Here's a recent upgrade, VM Fusion Pro 13.6.4:

https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/vmware-cis/desktop-hypervisors/fusion-pro/13-0/using-vmware-fusion/upgrading-vmware-fusion/upgrade-vmware-fusion-from-a-download.html

Here are the release notes:
https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/vmware-cis/desktop-hypervisors/fusion-pro/13-0/release-notes/vmware-fusion-1364-release-notes.html

It downloads very slowly but Ignore the progress bar on their website as it downloads and just pay attention to the progress bar on your Mac file.

For what it's worth, prior to the recent server upgrade, iOS online uploads did not show notes. They do now.

That's odd. I just checked now and it's working for me. What error message are you getting?

For what it's worth, Invelos.com seems to redirect to HTTPS under iOS 18 but not uniformly under iOS 15.

People seem to be confused on the HTTPS issue since they are going to:

Instead of going to:

With the new server update, iOS updates to the online database seem to be working again. I suspect the same is true for Android. Check it out and report back here.
