The Amazing Spider-Man

I suppose the problematic part is the "in 3D", but it was the reason why the dimension thingy was added no?

Edit : I've changed my choice in the post I did at 8:58

The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D
99.9% of all cat plans consist only of "Step 1."

Title: The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D
Original Title: The Amazing Spider-Man

I believe that's how it was done with similar titles.

No, in cases it can be part of the title. http://www.invelos.com/Forums.aspx?task=viewtopic&topicID=585852&PageNum=3&messageID=1697026#M1697026

In that case add me to the concensus for The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D

Sounds about right.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

I ask, because I haven't seen it expressed as "In 3D".

Are there many that express it like this?

Is this any different than the DVD Gulliver's Travels, where it says "In Technicolor" underneath (similar to how "In 3D" is here)

Just curious...

As far as "in 3D", this is the first I have seen and I own 48 4D titles

Many have just 3D, but I dont recall "in 3D" before.

It seems to me that we're getting perilously close to the old "add anything on the cover as title" discussions...
And furthermore doesn't the rule that says "Never add distinguishing factors to the title" apply here?
And doesn't the fact that "In 3D" is in a different color indicate that it's not part of the title?
And would any of the proponents please comment on Charlie's question how this is different from "In Technicolor".

When I did the profile for my copy this movie last month (when it was released here) there was a pre-order partial entry already in the db. That one had the title as  The Amazing Spider-Man 3D
In my update I changed it to  The Amazing Spider-Man in 3D, but in reality would much prefer for it to be called  The Amazing Spider-Man

All the above is because I have kinda given up with all these ambiguous rules and am sick of arguing if other people interpret the same thing differently.

I would go for The Amazing Spider-Man.

To me "3D" is a distinguishing factor. (Like "Widescreen")
