| Posted: | | | | Quoting Pistol Pete: Quote: Import from DVD Profiler includes collection numbers. I have imported all my profiles to Movie Collector where they all show correct collection number. The field name for collection number in Movie Collector is Index. Dang! I did not see that! Thanks Markku! That may make Movie Collector a viable replacement if (or rather when) Invelos shuts down its servers. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

| Posted: | | | | I also noticed: -the ability to reload from "Core" (Invelos Profile Refresh), and the rough equivalent of locks to prevent certain info from being overwritten. - Setting of default values for some personal info to reduce typing - Statistics - Loan Manager - Find Duplicates (considers same title existing on DVD, Blu-Ray, HDDVD as duplicates!!!!! ) - Quantity (multiple copies) But overall, it is looking not too awful. Still looking for reports ... Yes, wheels turning ... | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! Ideas: - Some kind of "sync" - Online Refresh from My Movies (or Fast Import) - Use My Movies as main Movie repository, and DVD Profiler as a way to capture packaging and locality variants | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | I'm confused. When I first tested I didn't see cast and crew in the export. Now I do. Anyway, that's another drawback that I can cross out in my comparison. | | | My freeware tools for DVD Profiler users. Gunnar |

Well, after 14 years and 31,00 discs, I had to give up on Profiler. Just out-grew it, not being able to add any more to it.
I'm still working on it, but, I moved the collection over to Movie Collector. Surpassed the 32,000 disc level and it runs fine. Still a few bugs to fix, but it looks good!

My Collection Are you sure that this is about the Profiler Limit? Maybe a problem with Ram of Computer... I dont know about the limit number of Profiler. Sounds strange to me... | | | Last edited: by grinawer |

What about the Profiler limit? |

I dont know what are you telling me... (Sorry I have a poor English) The collection numbers are set up by category. Found out early that I needed to have more numbers available for movies, and then TV series. Why there's breaks in numbering. The count currently showing in my collection (32097) is currently correct. Gene My Collection |

Your English seems perfectly fine and good enough to understand it, but if you still don't, here is an example: 1 2 5 6 9 Looking at the last number, (9), does tell you how many items are in that list (5). By the way, Google Translate is not bad, and if you have an iPhone, the Translate App is actually excellent for short phrases or sentences. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here.
