| Posted: | | | | FYI, if at all possible, run a database backup within Profiler. It's a lot cleaner to restore a compiled backup rather than trying to get archived directories running again. |

| Posted: | | | | The usual suspect for RAM-data loss in combination with USB connection problems would be a defective (insufficient) powersupply. So before exchanging the whole machine you may check with a new power supply unit if the issue still occurs. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | If it were defect RAM it would not just happen when you close DVDP. That's too deterministic IMHO. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Reinstalled DVDP, created a new database, and imported all again. Sofar data seems to be correct. Made an extra backup of the database and keeping it safe. | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

| Posted: | | | | Sorry to up that post, but I have the same problem.
I had the error adding several DVD's (without downloading from invelos), and now, each time I try to open DVDProfiler, it can't read the database. I then can't backup my database, to create a new one and reimport. I tried several times a repair without success.
Any idea ? |

| Posted: | | | | Which plugins are you running?
It has shown that several of the older ones are no longer working with the latest version of DVDProfiler. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

| Posted: | | | | I don't have any plug-in.
I have tried to install dvdprofiler on another machine, create a new database, and import with the online collection. It appears that my online collection is pretty close to my actual database. I even have retrieved my personalized datas (price, date of buy, etc...). I will try to see if there is more differences, but it seems that the loss is not so important. |
