Well, as undesirable as it is to lose contributors, the blame is on StefaanD.
Instead of simply asking what could be wrong he started nagging and haggling here and he caught flack for it.
The fact that he wrote rather cryptic posting that lead to severe misunderstandings didn't helped either.

3rd attempt for this title, i even used the wrong UPC ( the one from Moulin Rouge! digibook )

Guess the text "3rd and last attempt for this title." actually did the trick ... pffttt. Come on guys and gals who is doing this kind of shiitake mushroom. Now i also see the reason why there's no name for whom declined a contribution.

Also seems someone doesn't know what EAN means and we have to use UPC instead

Are you saying that you are giving fake/wrong information in your contribution notes?

Not cool at all.

As you can see above, I wasn't sure what he was doing. But nonetheless it looks like he doesn't like to answer when other users ask a question. I asked another question after apologizing for misinterpreting his original post and I didn't get an answer there either.

I agree with Mithi that the problem is the way the original post was written. I am not the only one who misunderstood it and it seemed in general to be a rather "unfriendly" post.

On the other hand I have to agree with Kulju, the latest contribution should have been declined too. The notes don't state where the information is coming from. I still wonder if another profile was cloned, and that being the reason to put an UPC/EAN in the notes, or if the information came from the cover and the disc. Either way the contribution doesn't really follow the rules and that, in my opinion, is a reason to decline it.

My issue with some of the responses wasn't the message, but how it was delivered.  I think some of the issue may be is with his English (not passing judgement as I can't speak anything but...), as it was a tad confusing and I think some maybe were quick to assume the worst.

Contributing at first can be a tad daunting and the forums aren't the friendliest place for new contributors.

FWIW I didn't think in his OP he meant to supply bad data in the notes.  I can also verify that when a profile is declined the information giving isn't very helpful, especially to a new contributor.

I think if you start your first post with "ROFLMAO" you are already steering the thread a certain way.
This isn't the most friendly way to start. Maybe the language (English being not the first language of the user) plays a role but I think this thread was opened to take a jab at the screeners.

English isn't my first language, but I sure know better than starting a thread using that acronym. Unless I was posting about something funny of course, but certainly not in a "those guys act weirdly do you think?" topic...

Sometimes language is an excuse (something I sure understand), but certainly not in that case.

This is why i don't come to this Forums no more it becomes more and more a mudslinging contest than an intelligent discussion on the core of the issues or the problem at hand.

As far as I can tell StefaanD did answer your question.

Probably because he had already said he was done posting and wouldn't be back.  It's possible he hasn't visited this thread since then and thus he wouldn't have seen your second question.  He also felt like he was being called a liar after explaining it was a mistake so he may not wish to answer any other questions.

One thing is clear though, StefaanD hasn't posted since his last post on the 19th.

The other thing that is clear, is that he opened this thread to take a jab at the screeners, mocking the system. If you start a thread with "ROFLMAO" you have to expect that other users respond in a similar fashion. I believe that he could have stated his contribution problem in a different manner. I also believe that his 3rd contribution attempt should have been declined too, not just because the wrong UPC/EAN was given, but for the lack of notes overall. I still don't understand if a profile was cloned or if everything came from the disc and/or cover.
