Sadly, it also recompresses the pictures.
Whenever you switch to the "Cover images" tab in edit mode and save the profile, the pictures are re-touched, whether you actually changed them or not. It fixes them locally as you toggle, but if you re-download them after toggling the banner off they will not show as changed anymore Personally I have the banners shut off for all media types. I don't like them |
