That would be silly, the own abbreviation I've invented is B-rD.

But Disc Information is the only section I haven't locked. There I use the same abbreviation for Blu-ray Disc as amazon.com, blu-ray.com, DVD Profiler and everybody else: Blu-ray.

The second most common variant is Blue-Ray.

I have DVD and B-rD Custom Collection Categories, though.

No, it's phonetically pronounced as /b?rd/, like in Treebeard.

OK, I was trying to be positive when I started this thread, but I see several of you were correct, no consensus, so I will make mine consistent and keep them locked.

Thanx to those who responded with positive feedback or drivel...it was worth a try.
