| Posted: | | | | Version 1.02 is available.
- Added ability to edit Locality - manually from the dropdown box - via MultiCopy tool
To bulk change localities, flag the relevent profiles, and then Load Flagged Profiles in BulkEdit, after having checked the Locality column for display.
After the change, File/Save Validated Changes will create a new copy of the profile with the new locality. The old one's flag will have been cleared and new one will be flagged. The datagrid will refresh with only the newly created profileIDs. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! Fixed bugs in DVDSpot CSV Import - "Rating" incorrectly mapped to Review-DVD instead of Review-Movie - Rating scale off by +0.5 - Profiles incorrectly assigned between Ordered and Wishlist - information contained in owned_custom is now appended to Notes as an XML field <PurchaseNotes>owned custom contents</PurchaseNotes> | | | Thanks for your support. | Posted: | | | | Version 1.04 is available. In DVDSpot CSV Import- Improved fix for Star Rating - Allow "Profile ID" field to replace "UPC" For All CSV Imports (including DVDSpot)- Improved handling of "Profile ID" field Profile ID- When present, overrides UPC, and UPC is derived from it - When present, Locality guessing is bypassed Profile ID formats supported: - UPC.Locality, where Locality is defined as here.- "I"(followed by 16 digit disc id).Locality - Example: IABCDEFAB123A456B.5 - "M"(followed by 12 digit number).Locality - Example: M000000000047.17 In all cases, if locality = United States ("0"), then the ".0" is omitted. | | | Thanks for your support. For all Update modes and scenarios:
Save Validated Changes no longer processes the profile list twice. This was a bug. Now the update process should run much faster.
If there are still issues with this, please report problems here. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |

| Posted: | | | | I just tried installing this plugin (I need to import my XML file into an empty database for some verification, and I unfortunately don't have access to my actual backup file), but it won't load.
I downloaded v1.04 and v1.05, both give the same error: Error reading localities: using internal tables.
So I click ok, then DVD Profiler gives an error and says "The selected plugin's load function failed".
And that's it. It somply won't load. I skimmed this thread to try and find someone with a similar problem, and I didn't.
I tried flagging a few DVD before going to Tools -> View Plugins and add the checkmark next to BulkEdit (as it's not there by default because of the error, and the BulkEdit entry on the tools menu doesn't appear), and I get the same error, although the BulkEdit menu entry under Tools appears at this time, but doesn't do anything.
I'm guessing I must be missing some component, but I can't find information about any dependencies of this plugin.
Edit: just realized something - I'm using DVD Profiler 3.5 Beta - could that be the problem? | | | Last edited: by RossRoy |

| Posted: | | | | Sorry, I've been remiss in making the update. I was trying to wait for next drop, but I should maybe get started now.
I'm concerned that the Load failed. What should happen is that I build the locailites file using an internal table when the file is not found. But this sounds like a bigger issue than I thought. Let me take a look.
Edit: Ok, I simulated the problem and the same thing happens on 3.1 1171, so this particular bug is not Beta related. It has been a while since I tested the "file not found" path, and I must have damaged that code somewhere along the line. So, I need to get this fixed, even for the current release. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! | Posted: | | | | well I don't know what changed, but I just uninstalled 3.5 Beta, then manually deleted all folders (in program files, in my documents and in appdata), also deleted the registry keys. I then installed 3.1 (and plugins I use) Lo and behold, all is fine! BulkEdit loads and works fine! But sorry mediadogg, that means I won't be able to help you troubleshoot it... | | | Last edited: by RossRoy |

But sorry mediadogg, that means I won't be able to help you troubleshoot it... Oh ... I thought you wanted to use the Beta. Well anyway, I'm biting the bullet and installing the Beta and testing my qucik fix for BulkEdit. Funny - been procrastinating all this time - all it took was a catalyst. Well, yeah, I still want to use the beta, but I really needed to check something and have an up to date database in DVDP right now I still have 3.5 beta installed at home, so if you need help with the troubleshooting, I should be able to over the weekend |

| Posted: | | | | Version 1.06 is available. If you are not using Profiler Beta 3.5, you do not need this. V1.06 is a rudimentary start at Beta 3.5 support. It carries its own copy of localities.dod in order to avoid the error of not finding it. It appears to work ok, but I have not tested it completely. - the BulkEdit folder must be copied to the \Plugins folder of the Beta. - there is no edit or import support for custom genres (yet) or any of the new fields
But you should be able to update disc ids, for example. Let me know if it doesn't work. I only tried one. | | | Thanks for your support. Free Plugins available here. Advanced plugins available here. Hey, new product!!! BDPFrog. | | | Last edited: by mediadogg |
