Hello from Germany.

I've been using DVDProfiler for some time and I'm actually very happy with it.
Lately I've noticed that fewer and fewer new films (4K) are being entered here.
No Bad Boys 4, Deadpool & Wolverine, Twisters, Civil War, Furiosa or The Fall Guy from August.
Just a few well-known titles.

I also tried to send something in, but somehow that didn't work either.
Or there is simply nothing happening.

It looks like this is dead.
You have to do the work yourself for every film.

I translated this with Google

Make sure you're updating your online profile list. From the menu bar select Online -> (hold down the Ctrl key and then click) Refresh Online Profile List...

Those titles should be in the database, at least for the US versions. The database is a user contributed database so it's dependent on users contributing new profiles and updates. But yes, there have also been less individuals contributing as time has gone on.

Hi rdodolak

Ok, actually after starting the software it always checks for updates.
If I now click on update, the window pops up briefly and closes again immediately.

The incremental update file has been broken since the server crash/update. So, you need to manually download and refresh the online profile list to get all of the updates by following the instructions I previously posted.

EDIT: If you don't hold down the CTRL key before clicking Refresh Online Profile List then it only checks for the incremental update file which doesn't exist.

Oh man, thanks for the tip.
He downloaded a lot (over 38MB).
All missing films are there.

If you don't know this and wouldn't look here in the forum, then it's not ideal.
Because I don't speak English well, I don't actually use English forums

Thank you again.

Oh man, this information should be a big size sticky on top of all your forums lists!!!
I also was sure that the system is dead for months now.
Thank you
