That's... odd. I don't know what's going on there.

Flag All profiles, then go to Collection->Flagged->Set Exclusions. The check boxes should be blank. If not, clear them, press OK and reupload your collection.

Chances are the titles are already in the database. Just download a corresponding profile by title and change it locally to your custom media format. That's what I do with digital downloads.

Have you run a database repair?

It's a HD Keep Case, but given how the program works that might not be the best option for everyone. The cover scans would have the size of blu-ray slip covers rather than the regular smaller blu-ray scans and for those using the automatic media banner feature in DVD Profiler it probably makes more sense to enter them as regular keep cases to avoid the banner on top of a cover that's already complete as it is.

Personally, I don't use the media banner feature so I don't really have a preference.

If Ken had wanted Isolated Score listed twice he could have added a check box for it like he did for Commentary. He didn't, which at least tells me that it's not required information. Personally I wouldn't add it to the Other features field for the simple reason that it can not be "Other" if it's already covered elsewhere. A feature yes, but not an Other feature. But would I care to remove it if it's already added? Probably not.

the biggest threat to dvd profiler is lack of support for 32 bit apps in windows at some time in the future. yes you can keep an old machine without moving onto newer windows, but it gets harder to do that as the hardware gets older... same with whoever said they are purposely keeping an apple device on an older OS just for dvdp. that has a short shelf life still, eventually the battery will wear out and it would be hard to find a similar old device that was also not updated in better condition.

Wouldn't it be possible to run it in something like Virtualbox? I used to run old Windows XP applications in it.

Of course, I just bought the complete 'Allo 'Allo box set.

(I also love the Swedish live version with Sven Melander et al.)

Microsoft has changed the way Windows read DVD disc IDs so that would be expected if you bought a new PC recently.

We add a lot of ADR people without roles. Same thing imo.

Not everyone has the means to contribute disc id profiles for 4k discs since they don't own the necessary hardware to read the discs on their computers.

A workaround for your local database would be to add the stand-alone upc profiles instead.

Looking at the contribution notes it seems someone who is not likely to own this release contributed the changes. Although they claim to only have changed the production year...

The voting period was slightly less than four days so not exceptionally short. But short enough to miss I guess.

Another possibility is that you corrected your overview locally but never submitted your changes to the online database. Any changes (or non changes in that case) would therefor seem "new" to you.

Yet another possibility is that it was already changed back in 2015 but you refused the update then.

AFAIK that has never happened to me. But some changes take effect immediately without voting like adding color.

Did you PM the contributor about it?

Two years since I bought my first title and I'm still only at 72. I'm sure with DVDs and blu-rays I had several hundred discs at this point... But maybe that's a healthy sign!

I'm sorry but a post like this just bugs me. In one sentence you complain about how the database is.... and on the very next you admit you don't do anything to help the situation...

In my opinion if you refuse to do anything to help the database you have no right to complain about it. After all it is a user created database.

If it is not in the database.... feel free to help out and put it in. After all that is the only thing that will solve the problem.

Who are you adressing? If me, i just explained that creating localised profiles for the Nordic countries when one already exist is pointless, since they are for all purposes identical except for a few details I adjust locally.

When there are no suitable profiles I of course contribute. I think my contribution history to this databse speaks for itself so get down from your high horse and slap your face until you wake up.

I'm surprised sometimes when importing UK titles that even for what should be fairly popular titles not even the proper covers have been added. Definitely not what it used to be.

For Sweden it's even worse, but I can usually find a decent profile for at least one of the Nordic countries and since they tend to be identical I don't often bother to create new localised profiles.

I had a relapse.

And it just feels more fitting to have a 90s sitcom on DVD.

Be that as it may, but that doesn't really answer the question. I take it that you mean the songs should be credited in both versions?

Yes to both.

I don't see this differently than any other recut, edited cut, extended cut, director's cut etc released after the original cut, sometimes with added footage that was filmed later. The film title has changed but that's the only difference, it's still versions of the same movie imho.

(One could maybe argue that if more than 50% of the film was reshot then it's a different movie but that doesn't seem to be the case here.)
