Original distribution medium: Television, Theater, Direct-to-video, Live(?). Anything else?
Creative medium: Live action, animation, anime, stop-motion, CGI. Be able to select multiples due to the possibility of mixed mediums.
Both categories should be filterable in the Add Disc dialog.
With the mediums added, the corresponding values in the genre category can be removed. |

As for the main categories: Television, Theatrical, Direct-to-Video, Performance (covering concerts/stand-up/whatever), Short Subject (shorts/music videos/etc.) and Special Features (for DVDs that are exclusively Special Features). |
