I would like to have all of the functionality of collection numbers with slot numbers.  I would like to be able to sort by slot number and have the slot numbers visable in the collection list.  The slot numbers are a good idea, but they can't be used effectively in there present form.  For example, I have added a DVD to my collection that has two disks and one UPC, collection #22 and slot numbers 22 and 23.  When I look at the collection list I see a gap between 22 and 24 with what appears to be no disk in it and since it's the first "open" collection number available every new disk I add wants to use collection #23.  I can't see that the slot is being used until I click on disk information.  Now that would not be a problem if the rest of DVDP recognized the slot numbers as being part of the collection.  If multi-disks could be treated in a similar manner as box sets that might do it.

You can sort and view Disc locations in the title list.

On the list>Right mouse-click>View Columns>Check "Disc Location"

Yes, my point exactly.  When you do sort by disk location you will not see the second disk associated with that single UPC within the collection.

I'm not sure the best way to get around this, but I was thinking if you could treat multi disk collections like box sets.  Or possibly the URL could be associated with the disk ID's first and then the collection number or slot number next according to your preference.
