Hi - I am updating my DVDs regularly. I usually find that the covers are worse than my local one so mostly I am accepting only the updated profile.

Most of these new profiles have a Country of Origin added so show a difference detected icon against the production yet after I accept it this is still blank on the profile. The production field is definitely not locked so I do not understand why it's not getting updated?

Is anyone else experiencing this?

no, my updates show after the productiondate the CoO like this:
Produced: 1997 in United States
Sources for one or more of the changes and/or additions were not submitted. Please include the sources for your changes in the contribution notes, especially for cast and crew additions.

Have you looked at a profile before the update then accepted it and checked again afterwards?

That's what I've done and the CoO is definitely not being updated for me.

No there not - I checked

It's very strange for me now as both CoO and features are behaving like this.

I accepted a profile update for Small Soldiers that had CoO and bloopers tick box added. I then used the option in the program "Online - Refresh DVD from Invelos - Preview Changes" and the same differences were detected. Once I manually editted the profile and then used "Online - Refresh DVD from Invelos - Preview Changes" again and it said no differences detected.

Weird

I think it may be something to do with the way I'm doing the updates because I am going through them bit by bit.

Could someone try the following?

1 - Click the big "Refresh Updated Profiles Icon"
2 - Right click on the list of available updates and pick "Select None" to uncheck all of the updates.
3 - Preview one of the updates and see what is different until you find one with a CoO added.
4 - Back out of the comparison screen and check the box to accept the profile update.
5 - Click OK to actually accept the profile update for that DVD
6 - Have a look at the profile and see if the CoO has been added

TIA

Item 4:
Do you mean to press Cancel in the preview screen, so that the check box in the list is not yet filled and then do that there?

I'm not sure that it matters? When I use either OK or Cancel on the preview screen I return to the list of DVDs with no checkboxes checked and then check the Profile one myself.

Thanks

If you click OK and return to the list, the check box will only be checked, if you actually selected something to be updated or adjusted the radio button away from Do Not Accept Updates. So, I it should indeed be possible. Checking the checkbox in the list should equal "Updated Unlocked Fields".

I will check this tonight.

Hi ya_shin

Could you do me a favour and have a look at this now things are back?

I'm still getting the same sort of thing with the new 3.03 beta

I hope I'll remember, as I don't have a chance to do so today and my brain may not carry this until tomorrow... (I'll do something to remind myself ).

I tried the above method today.

If I click OK in the preview while the "Accept None" radio button is active and then check the "Refresh Profile" box in the Refresh Updated Profiles list, the update is actually not performed. (In my test this was easy to see, as I had a completely empty profile, which was still completely empty afterwards.

Definitely a BUG!

(BTW, am using 3.0.3...)

Thanks ya_shin - that's exactly what I was experiencing. Let's hope Ken reads this and addreses it.

I've learned to work around it by deselecting all from the list then going in to the preview and setting all the checkboxes there rather than coming out of the preview and checking the "Refresh Profile" box in the Refresh Updated Profiles list.

Thanks again for your help.
