Hi, if I for example click on Eddie Murphy's name on a movie. Why doens't all the movies he acted in show?

The program only shows you the films you have in your local database.
If you want to see all the films use the links supplied to IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes.

I know that. But when I click on the name only the one name appears, not all the others I have with the same actor!

atle78, if his name is spelled the same way in 2 different movies and they don't show up, try running the database repair tool. Do a backup before you run this as a precaution.

If the names are spelled differently, Eddy, Eddie and Edward for instance, then the only way to link them is to create a common name and enter the film's credit in the Credited As field. Since the rules for common name are not established yet, I would recommend not making a contribution just yet.

Sorry, I misread your initial post.
In addition to Kevin's handy hints, if you could check that his name is indeed meant to be spelt differently in the different films and it's not just a typo by the original contributor.
If there are any mistakes in the online database we'd love to have them fixed!

Along with what was already said  Make sure that someone didn't put first and last name as just the first name.
