First of all, I love the new version. But many of my DVD's from the backup have no more cover. So, I tried to look them up, and choose another version. But many of the movies I have, do not exist in the new version. E.g. Winx (very popular in Holland, about a dozen different titles) and, even more suprising, Spiderman 2? Also a dozen other Dutch childrens movies, but I figured I gave these two examples.

If you didnt uninstall the old version, try to make the backup again, and import it to DVDP3.

Theres the news of the merge on the frontpage which might explane some of the missing titles:
"The merger of DVD databases between InterVocative and Invelos is now complete. Several filters and consistency checks were used to trim out some of the incorrect entries in the InterVocative database. The resulting merged database of 280,000+ titles is now available for access from DVD Profiler version 3.0. Undoubtedly some correct entries didn't make the cut, so in those cases feel free to use DVD Profiler's integrated Contribute feature to submit them for inclusion in the database."

But I did. I had a crash, 8 days ago, and bought a new computer. When redownloading Profiler I found out it was a whole new deal, I missed the announcements completely. So I bought the new version, and used the online backup from InterVocative to fill the Invelos database.

I just don't understand why all those titles didn't merge.

They were probably flagged as having wrong UPC or something.

Btw, did you realise, that in 3.0 we add the whole upc, like that:

Because i just searched by title and i found several Spider-Man 2 DVD's in the database, with Holland as the locality. As well as Winx 1-2 (and the rest under Belgium locality)

That's odd! Winx was zero a few days ago, but Spiderman is still poor... I made a print of my search results, 6 lines, bur I can't insert that here.

It depends how you have the add by title screen set up and the text you enter. I have it set to R2 - Locality Any - Release Any, with full substring and include no region ticked. This brings up 190 results if I type Spider-.

By the way you can have a different forum name to your registration name, probably not a good idea to use your email account.
