What is a "Tag"?

I was wondering what a tag is (under personal information) and what exactly is it used for. 
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

If you mean in DVD Profiler, then:

That guide was made for DVDP 2.4, but it'll give you the general idea.

If you mean in the forums (tagline), its the thing under your username, mine says kuiskaus.
