Final Cut Pro if you are using Mac (it is a Video Editing Software to reply to one of the earlier posts)

Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas if using PC

Those are high end professional programs and let you do pretty much anything you can think of.

Some other ones that have been named are good, but I prefer the above.
