Back to the Future Trilogy 4 Disc Collector's Edition (Italian Version), contains the same discs selled as standalone version (same disc id).
Discs are equal, but the cover (for that included in the box set) are not identical.
My question is: "What cover have to stay for on line collection ?".
Thanks.

The standalone versions are probably in the online datebase by their EAN. Therefore it does not matter if they have the same disc id's as the ones in the 4 Disc Collector's Edition. Discs of the 4 Disc Collector's Edition should be contributed with the disc id.

If the discs are individually packaged, then you use those covers. Otherwise you use the cover of the 4 Disc Collector's Edition also for the child profiles.

The problem is that when i try to contribute, for example Back to the Future Part I, appears the screen for modifying the standalone version, with it's covers and not that that for the first contribution !

You would have to change the EAN on the profile first, creating a whole new profile to match the standalone disks.  The boxset disks should have a blank EAN, just a disk ID.

The standard shortcut employed by many is to download the boxset profile for a disk.  Change the EAN to match the new standalone and then change any individual information that might be different.  Cover art, SRP, release date, etc.  Finally, this new profile is then uploaded with a note explaining where all the information came from.

If the disks in the original boxset already had separate EANs and they match your new standalone EANs, then you are stuck.  Whoever gets there first wins, and it sounds like the boxset got there first.

My box set is a digipack; I contributed the profiles in my local database (with the cover taken from the stand alone versions) in the crazyness of the first days at invelos....
As per the rules I think that every child profile should have the same cover as the parent profile, since the disc are not individually packaged.

Box set EAN : 5050582364460
Disc 1: I 2270-597E-2EF6-EB85
Disc 2: I E114-D729-BDCA-B074
Disc 3: I 2357-9CD5-F659-4A1D
Disc 4: I A966-A923-C24E-A897

As for the standalone versions, the EANs in the online database are:
3259190297494 (I think it's wrong, and that it should be 7892141400947
7892141400954
7892141400961
I don't know if the covers are the correct ones

Hope this helps
Laura
