Fair enough, but most of this discussion has been spent with some very in-depth posts trying to prove whether the rules of grammar dictate it should capitalised, when they don't really apply. Especially ironic considering past arguments to abandon other grammar rules in the name of data. Everyone needs to stop prevaricating and just decide on one.

I agree.  I don't know why the Rules don't just say to apply standard capitalization rules for titles and then a link to the reference I  posted earlier in this thread.

It's really not that hard!
