i am running the 2.4 version and could someone tell me how to manually add a dvd. I am geting the error saying about upgrading to the latest version but I would like to keep using it as I have it set up with myHTPC and a programme called xml2my. In the 2.4 version I would export the xml file whch would be converted by the xml2my programme but it will not work with the latest version of profiler. I have searched the forums and the answer seems to be to uncheck the online download box in the add dvd screen but I cannot even get in to that screen to do that.
Any help would be great.

On the "add DVD" screen uncheck "Download from IVS"

Unless you are trying to "refresh the online list" you should be able to add something manually.

Close the program

re-open it

go to DVD > Add to Collection

It will ask you to confirm "Refresh online profile from IVs before continuing". Click NO

You will then get the add by UPC / Title / Disc ID / Upcoming Releases screen.

Of course everything will have to be done manually. Anytime you attempt to access the IVS Database you will get the message that you need to upgrade.
