I contributed Survivorman season 1 to the database a while back with no cover scan (I have no scanner).  Someone recently decided to add a scan, which is great.  However there are 2 releases of this season.  The one I have was purchased from www.lesstroudonline.com.  Back then, it was the only place it could be purchased.

Since then, The Discovery channel has released this and it has hit all the major retailers.  The original release has a UPC of 791682102075.  Now when the cover scan that goes with this profile in the database is viewed, it is pretty clear it is not the one that goes with this release.  The UPC as shown on the reverse cover image is 014381396720.  This is the Discovery Channel release and is a completely different image.  This profile is not in the database at all.

So, no big deal, I thought.  I will delete the scans and resubmit the profile.  But no such luck.  Once there are scans associated with a profile, there is no way to resubmit a profile with blank images.  Am I missing something?  If so, how do I fix this?  If not, possibly something can be done to alleviate this problem in the future.

One thing you could do is look online and find the correct images no matter how crappy they are....submit them and say the current images in the database have the wrong UPC.

The other I guess is make some kind of a change to the profile if any is needed and then note that the scans have the incorrect UPC.

The other I guess is just PM Ken or Gerri and let them know about this problem...I'm sure there are other things as well but I can't think of them right now.
