I love having TCM or AMC channel on in the background ( besides CNN), when I am in the home office here working on my PC ( and of course my beloved DVD PROFILER)., . Which leads me to this question of the day:
When a movie (in its unedited form) is played on cable or satellite TV , (of which you own in your database),,  do you consider that warrants a 'watched by' and on what date so you can monitor just how many times you do see a particular film ???

For me it's a Big Yes..

Like....,,,, Two Weeks ago TCM ran the 1933 version of King King,, and wouldn't you know it, the unedited commercial free version even had the opening Overture before the credits ran.., ( now when do you see that on commercial TV ??) I watched most of it with my 5 year old granddaughter, as I wanted to introduce the 'Beauty and the Beast' moral to her, and also I enjoyed her excitement of the monsters  etc.., ( reminded me when I was that age)..,, Bottom line,, when it was over,, I had to mark my 'Watched By'  so in the coming Year I'll know whether to bring that DVD out again so soon or wait an extra year.. ( Unless TCM runs it again..)
