Help me please...I'm going contribution crazy |

If the data appears incorrect but is not obvious or easily found what should I do with it? Should it be remove it until the correct data can be found and entered? Should it be left?
For example:
The release date for Full Impact:
1) Disc ID: C43D-B04C-8AAD-FF9A (its UPC 826294-500008 is in the invelos database as another movie)
• Invelos: 4/30/2003
2) UPC 826294-501111
• Invelos: 4/30/2003
3) UPC 881273-000221
• Invelos: 5/4/2004
It’s amazing how many errors I am finding…DVD #2 has the wrong back cover! But, this works out since it matches the DVD #1 mentioned above…you know the one I couldn’t enter by the UPC because it’s in the database by another name…Agghhhh!
Edit: I removed the tool data (thank you Erik and Skip) but I still need clarification. I added one more film for comparison.
When is it okay to remove approved data?
I know UPC 826294-501111 has the wrong back cover (the UPC shows 826294-500008) so I'm comfortable removing that but what about more obscure data such as release date. | | | | Last edited: by Kathy |

Skip But if the authored date is after the release date then you could have a re-release disk that uses the old UPC. In this case the data on the disk may not match the profile based on the original release. You would think that when they make that kind of change the would give it a new UPC, but no!
