| Posted: | | | | The upcoming Disney Platinum Edition of Sleeping Beauty seems to be available in a version that includes both, the Blu-ray and the DVD version, possibly to allow people not owning a Blu-ray player yet to still buy that version (makes sense because of the fact that it'll be seven years before we see another release of the movie). This seems like the perfect edition for me (although I'm not sure it'll be available in Germany) but as I don't own Blu-rays yet I'm not sure DVD Profiler supports this.
So, my question:
Is it currently (Beta?) possible to add Blu-ray and DVD-ROM discs to a Blu-ray profile?
If not this should be brought to Ken's attention quickly to assure it makes it into the current beta cycle! | | | - Jan |

Seven years was the Rules, it's only been FIVE since the last release of Sleeping Beauty. A DVD/BD Combo, huh. I can't say i am terribly surprised.

If you can't add a DVD to a bluray profile (I can't check till I get home tonight) this may be better set up as a bluray profile with a bonus movie (a child profile for the dvd version). | | | Last edited: by northbloke |

That's of course possible, but not a desirable solution. After all it isn't a bonus movie and would mess up statistics like number of movies of a certain actor. | | | - Jan |

| Posted: | | | | I agree it would be a lot better to simply add the DVD to the bluray profile. I only suggested it if it turns out that isn't possible. |

| Posted: | | | | If the question is can you check both the DVD and Blu-ray check boxes the answer is no, even with the Beta (release 1195). Checking DVD de-selects Blu-ray and vice versa.
If the question is can you add DVD disc info to a Blu-ray profile the answer is yes, no problem. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |

| Posted: | | | | I have at least two BD profiles already with DVD disc info listed. Patton is one, the other escapes me.
And these are doable with existing software. | | | Bad movie? You're soaking in it! |
