Man gets up, jumps out of the window, hurts himself, and then realizes: "Damn, I am the husband!"

| Posted: | | | | Neither, both.
How can we be guilty from a dream? Both husband & wife are responding from a dream state, dreams being aptly characterized as the mind being slightly awake as a nightly defrag occurs. Guilty only of imagining infidelity. We can think what we want, actions count. | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

| Posted: | | | | I agree with Cliff, neither/both. Voted both. Although assuming that they're both dreaming of events that happen in their lives and from the point of view of both the husband and wife then the latter would be guilty. After all, the hunband woke up and heard his wife...she knows nothing of what he did when he woke! |

| Posted: | | | | I realized, a lot time ago, that taking responsibility for everything which goes wrong works great. I apologize. I'm sorry. I wish I hadn't done that.
It works at home; it works on the job; it works at school; it works with friends; it works nearly everywhere you go, and with nearly every person you meet.
Just apologize, assume responsibility for everything which went wrong.
The only people who will not immediately forgive you (and often assume partial, if not complete, responsibility) are the people who are bullies and looking for a fight: the ones who always shift responsibility for everything wrong to others and claim all the greatness in the world was caused by them. The people who hit you in the face for simply existing. People you don't give a damn about anyway.
I'm sorry; it was all my fault. What can I do to make things right? | | | If it wasn't for bad taste, I wouldn't have no taste at all.

The situation implies that both people are having an affair. Or just dreaming about it. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

The situation implies that both people are having an affair. Or just dreaming about it. Actually, I've just re-read the question & it's the husband who is guilty. It only mentions that the wife was dreaming, it doesn't say whether or not the husband was awake. |

We know that the wife was asleep & dreaming, supposedly having an affair when her dream husband came home. The husband however simply "gets up", not "The husband woke up, jumps out...." He has a guilty conscience about something. Of course, I do tend to over analyse things at times. |
