Hi,

I'm considering buying HTC HD2, I wonder if anyone has used DVD Profiler on it as it has a capacitative screen and DVD Profiler links are very stylus oriented.

Thanks for any help.

I, too, am considering this phone, so it would be important (to me) for DVD Profiler to properly support it

I have installed it on my HD2 without the framework 2.0 and it works fine.

The only problem is that the program was not designed for the HD2 so if you have big fingers it will be hard to open some of the links

Yep same here. It works most definitely on HTC HD2, but it's a little bit irritating that links are difficult to select; all depending on finger size of course.
Hope the WVGA (480x800) resolution version of DVD Profiler Mobile will surface soon....

I do think it is pretty nice on my HD2, and new version is a very good improvement. Can get better of course, but I like it.

There are a couple of 'NETBOOKS' now being offered for less than $100.00 that run WinCE, like this one from Computer Geeks:
Augen E-Go OE-A732 MagicEyes POLLUX 3520F 533MHz 128MB 2GB 7" Netbook Windows CE 5.0
http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?invtid=SIL-OE-A732-R&cat=NBB

It would be great if this could load and run DVDProfiler and access my main data base from via WiFi.

But I was told at one time that I could not run any version of DVDProfiler on Windows CE and reading the posting below in this thread now has me confused?!?

It works well with HD2. It is easy to use with the special pen to HD2 than with big fingers...

Have just purchased HTC HD and am wanting to install Profiler, however, when I get to the select destination screen I cannot find the mobile device location . . . am I missing something?

Definitely missed something.  First time installing onto mobile device and instructions were not very clear.  But checked Active Sync instructions and worked it out.
