| Posted: | | | | Just recently, I have a problem with synchronizing between DVD Profiler and Mobile. It has worked very well in the past. I am a registered (paid) user of both DVD Profiler and Profiler Mobile and have the latest versions installed.
What happens is I hook up my phone to my computer, open DVD Profiler, click on the Sync button and it starts the process; it first recognizes my phone then I tell it to overwrite Mobile - It goes through the first step of Saving Options - then starts the second step - Analyzing Cover Images - this is where the problem is; it shows the progress bar scroll all the way to the far right, and then just hangs, no error notices or messages. I tried it about 5 or 6 times over the last 2 weeks but get the same results. I know my phone is connected properly because I have other programs, such as Pocket Quicken which syncs just fine with my Mobile phone. I have the DVD data on the storage card (which is 8GB) and is only using about 18% of it.

| Posted: | | | | I'm not sure as to a solution to your problem, may want to open a support ticket unless someone else has any ideas.
One thing you can try is I believe you can sync directly to the SD card. I've never used this method but I believe it allows you to put the SD card in your computer (using an SD card reader) and sync the files to it that way and not through the phone. This would eliminate the phone which could provide some troubleshooting details if nothing else.
one possibility is a bad section on the card causing a read\write problem? since your doing an overwrite did you try deleting the dvd profiler directory off the card first?

| Posted: | | | | I had the same problem. I wasn't trying to overwrite the mobile; I was synchronizing. It hung at the same spot you mentioned.
The solution that worked for me was to repair the database. To repair the database, choose Options from the Tools menu. Click on Utilities on the bottom left, then click on the Repair Profile Database button. I did a full repair. |
