| Posted: | | | | From what I've read (and my own experience), it's not easy to find how to sync with the desktop database. So I suggest that the sync button that looks like this: Would be change for something that looks more like that: I think it may be less confusing. What do you think ? | | | Certainty of death... The button with the arrow coming out of a box implies in Apple UI that you're exporting or sending something. Syncing isn't necessarily just sending, it's also receiving. The double arrows imply syncing a lot more so than an out arrow. |

| Posted: | | | | The button used is the standard Actions button, of which sync is one possible action. Depending on device capabilities, other options may display.
That said, we do need to make it more obvious how to sync. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative | | | Last edited: by Ken Cole |

| Posted: | | | | I think a nice way to do this would be to instead of having "sync" and "scan barcode" instead just make that area "sync" with a rotation arrows button, then add the action button over where the + currently is and give it a list of "add to collection" and "scan barcode". |

| Posted: | | | | I'd agree that making the sync button more obvious is a good idea.
How about moving the 'database' button so its under 'settings' and then having 'sync' where 'database' was. That way its available no matter where you are. Currently I find it annoying you have to backup half a dozen times before doing a sync. | | | Home of the phpDVDProfiler forums |
