Sorry Vag, I'm a bit at a loss now. If the settings are exactly the same and your iPod can connect while your iPhone can't ... then I really don't know. Are the settings on both the same (i.e. both have a fixed IP address, both use the same gateway, etc)?

If the settings are identical, and the router is setup correctly, then I really don't see what could be causing this. Can your iPhone connect to your wifi/router with other software then DVDP? If so, then the problem is DVDP related I would think. If not, then it must be a connection problem between the router and iPhone. Aside from that, I really don't know ...

The only difference really is that on my Iphone my database is 80 Disks larger than the database on my PC and on my Ipod, because i did my last scan series on my Iphone.
However, my collection on my iphone is still below 500 disks, so if the size of the database is cause the trouble that would be an underwhelming performance for a database software.

The problem continues to exist.

I have now tried something else. I created another database on my iphone, hooked it up with my PC, and updated it to the status of my PC database. No problem connecting at all.

Now, with the same settings, I opened my old database on the iphone again, checked that the settings matched (they did), and tried to update: -> Unable to connect.

The only difference visible to me therefore is that my first collection has more DVDs scanned (80 more).

Is there really any problem uploading medium sized updates? When will this be fixed?

Or is there a workaround?
