Has anyone played with this yet?

I want my wife to be able to add movies she's watched to the DVD Profiler app on her iPhone when I'm not there, but I'm the one who does most of the updating of viewing and Blu-rays we add to our collection.

We both use the same iTunes account, so we don't have to re-buy the DVD Profiler for iOS, but when I go and sync the second app (hers) to my desktop client, does anyone know what will happen?

Let's set up an example:

1) The desktop is up to date and I sync it with my iPhone.
2) I sync the same currently updated desktop app with my wife's iPhone.
3) Now I make a change on my iPhone (say, add a movie I just bought)
4) Meanwhile she's added that she watched a movie.

Now, when I sync my iPhone with the desktop client and it gets the changes I made, when she syncs her iPhone, will everything sync up just fine? Will she get the movies I've added and the watched profiles I've updated, and will her changes also update to the desktop client so when I resync I get her changes?

I have an iPhone4 and an iPad that I have synced up to the same database.  Changes flow back-n-forth without issue as long as both don't sync at the same time.  If you do sync both at the same time, you may encounter errors which will be resolved in most cases simply by re-syncing by itself.

The only issue I've found is that if you both add profiles and then sync, you'll have duplicate collection numbers assigned as both iOS devices picked the next Collection ID that it believed to be available and the desktop did not perform any collision resolution.  Fixing is simply updating one of the duplicate ID's to a free number and resynchronizing the iOS devices.

The above sums it up nicely. I too made changes in iPad and iPhone which eventually synced over appropriately.
