Tried scanning barcodes on iPhone app and then update collection (option not obvious to find in the ios app).
Update for 1 title over wifi takes 3 minutes.
Whilst waiting, notice that the new title is in the list on the desktop version, so view it.
Everything falls apart with a database locked record.
Desktop version crashes.
Database is corrupt on restart.
Tried repair database, finds 6 erroneous BLOB entries.
Restart desktop app, takes 1 1/2 minutes to start, then says erroneous title found with no data, delete?
I say yes.
Desktop version starts, my collection is missing a title (not the new one I tried to add).
Restore from backup thankfully ok and missing title (whatever one it was) is back.
After spending £5.49, I would have expected record locking to have been properly tested... |
