Hello,
I am not able to add "adult" labeled titles from the Database in the iOS version, altough they are listed in the Desktop DB. Any ideas? Youth protection is turned off in both. Thanks in advance!

Due to Apple restrictions, these must be added on the desktop program.

I am new to DVD Profiler, having just bought the iOS version last night. I have an issue adding titles not in the online database, which I will create a new post for.

However, I don't understand the above reply. How can Apple know that you're trying to add an adult title? The one's I've tried to add don't show up, so I entered them manually, and the app just adds "NR" to them.

Are you saying there are adult titles in the online database, but the iOS app can't see them? So Steve not only controls what Apple sells, he controls my actions after I bought the iPad as well? I hope he doesn't one day decide iPads can not be used in the bathroom!

Apple is extremely puritanical even with mild nudity. There is no way they would allow the download of covers to adult titles (even though you could look at all the porn in the world with the Safari browser). It's ridiculous, but that's how it is at the moment. And Apple doesn't know that you add an adult title. What they do know is if the app has the ability to enter adult titles.

If you download the PC version of DVDP (free version will do) you can add adult titles and then sync them with the app. No need to enter them manually on your iPad.

Well, Steve wouldn't say it if it weren't true, I'm sure. Also, Apple is never wrong, we are.

Now I just have to hope he doesn't read this thread and get any ideas about the bathroom!
