| Posted: | | | | In the "Reassign Collection Numbers" dialogue, sub-frame "Renumber only" there is only available the Owned group. Hence it is no longer possible to renumber only self-defined groups.
Note for 2nd not reproducable bug: After falsely reassigning the whole collection I tried to "Restore the Database". After confirming the 2nd dialogue-box (that starts the restore), I got an error message. I restartet DVD Profiler and then Restored worked fine. Due to this I have no detailled description of the error message. |

| Posted: | | | | You are right, if i disable the option to add the entries of a self-defined group to the Owned Group then I can see the self-defined group (again) in the sub-frame "Renumber only".
Since this seems to be a new feature I can no longer use the Owned Group as additional collection container for all self-defined groups. I did this e.g. because this was the only way to upload the collection to online collection. Uploading self-defined groups was not possible previously. Is this possible now? |

| Posted: | | | | The sub-groups don't show up individually since they are part of the owned group. They will renumber as part of the owned group, as they should have. This change corrected the bug where duplicate collection numbers would be created in the owned group when sub-groups were reassigned individually. | | | Invelos Software, Inc. Representative |

| Posted: | | | | Oh no, this was not a good idea. I have several sub-groups and handle them by numbers. If there are gaps in a sub-group (due to the new numbering method), I can not use them any longer. If I exclude the sub-groups from the HOME group then the collection of the sub-group is not available in the online collection. How about handling sub-groups completely independent from HOME groups, e.g. online collection should show sub-groups as well? |

| Posted: | | | | You can re-number and specifiy a certain range. I keep my movies and TV shows seperate that way.#
Movies are 1-10,000. TV shows start at 10,001.
If I have to renumber I specify the range in which to renumber. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

| Posted: | | | | Hi DJ Doena,
can you guide me how to do the renumbering (automatically)? I have got too many movies to renumber manually.
Thanks, Gerch |

| Posted: | | | | Unfortunately it was a "bug" that I quite liked. My “owned” collection is actually an overarching collection of collections. I have multiple collections that I physically file separately and having contiguous numbers within each collection made a lot more sense for me. I cared not one jot for having a # 1 in each of the sequences. Sigh! Progress can be provoking.
