Hi

I recently uploaded some scanned DVD cover images. The scanned image was just of the front and back of the cover. However, when I added to DVD Profiler, the image had a "DVD Video" logo at the top of every image. I thought that may disappear when I contributed but no luck.

Any ideas on how to get rid of that?

For an example, see my covers for:
9321337070322 - Bloodsport
9321337102351 - Taken

Thanks.

Further clarification, when I "Edit" the image in DVD Profiler, the image looks perfect. However, when I finish editing and view the smaller image from the main DVD Profiler window the image has the logo at the top...  This is what uploaded when I "Contributed".

Solved...

When "Editing", in the "Cover Scans" section, I had "Media Banner" set to "Automatic".  I changed that to "Off".  Then when I uploaded to my online database and then downloaded on my iPad, the images were fine - they are also now fine in the main window of DVD Profiler.

I did try to re-contribute in case that setting went with the images but the "contribute" section on the web indicated there was no difference in the images. Therefore, it must just be a local setting...

If anyone can confirm that what I have done is correct, that would be awesome.

Thanks again

It's a local setting. Welcome to the asylum.

You figured it out - that's great.

If you want to remove all of them at once:

From the menu bar, select Tools -> Edit Media Types.

Then for each of the media type listed in the left window, uncheck the Use Default Banners and set the Front and Back banners to None.

Here is a thread that gives you a little more information:

Weird. I've never seen a DVD default banner.

Thanks to all.  Good to clarify what I have done and good to know where to disable the setting globally.
