I have created 2 databases & when I try and update the 2nd one by uploading, it asks if I want to replace the online collection (which is my 1st database) with my local one. The 1st one has over 700 entries & the 2nd only 3, so I'm concerned that all 700+ movies I entered will be removed & replaced with the 3. I would appreciate help.

So can I switch them back & forth? Upload from a 2nd database, download onto my iPhone & then switch back to the 1st db when I add more movies onto my iPad, to dl to my iPhone?

Again, you can have only one online database, so whenever you upload to it, the online database first erases what was there before and then uploads everything that you sending at that moment.

Yes, you can download to any of your devices from the online database, no matter which device originally uploaded it. (Upload from iPad, download to iPhone, same iPad, or even a different iPad.) Just be careful to not have the wrong database open when you download from online.
