Until now I did use AnyDVD HD from Slysoft to make it possible to readout the Disc Info from a Blu-ray disc. They now shutdown, site does not exist anymore and I did read they had to stop due to federal investigations and law. So it will very soon not work anymore. So it will not be possible to readout the Disc Info's anymore, right?

I don't think you can use BDInfo without something like AnyDVD HD running. You won't get the bitrate of the tracks and the description shows only the channels but for our purposes it works. | | | Deutsches DVD Profiler Forum: www.dvdprofiler-forum.de |

I'm using the open source of BD Info for my own program and you can't even read out the running time of the tracks of a modern Blu-ray without AnyDVD running because they deliberately screwed up the disc's file system. | | | Karsten DVD Collectors Online

You would miss many DD 2.0 Surround tracks as the surround flag would not be read. Also 7.1 DTS HD-MA tracks could not be read (e.g. "Spectre"). I just tested DVDFab Passkey and it works like AnyDVD. Might be the Chinese copied it from SlySoft, because the look and feel is nearly identical. I'll stick with the test-version for now and see, what will happen with our beloved red fox. |

| Posted: | | | | Red Fox took it over and does continue to support AnyDVD HD. Even your license does work with it. First download is already there using there database now: https://forum.redfox.bz/download/Fritz | | | * 3D TV Panasonic TX-P65VT30J + Blu-ray Player Panasonic DMP-BDT500 My Filmcollection online: www.filmkino.ch * |
