on my PC, I can't add titles by title. I get some error about pointer operation, and throws the whole program off, so i have to repair database. then once I go to add by title, it does it all over again.

as of right now, the only way i can add by title is thru android.

Sounds like something got corrupted, and could be the program files themselves.

Did you try re-installing?

Any other issues on your PC?

No, I haven't tried re-installing. won"t I lose all my custom covers if I do that?
Also updated to Windows 10, and still have the problem....

Perhaps, which is why you would start with a full backup.  Then uninstall.  Reinstall.  Restore your backup.

Just make sure you have a good backup in a safe place.  If you have that, you won't loose any custom covers or anything else really.
Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here.
Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection.

Well, I backed up my database, removed the software, and re-installed. Then reloaded the Database, and it works fine now. And I didn't lose a single custom cover.
Thank you to all that helped.
