Hi all. Does anyone else have this issue: if I search my database for a particular director (example: Ridley Scott) all but one of his films that are in my collection show on the results list. The missing film (Gladiator) does not appear even though it is in the database with Ridley Scott as the Director and spelled correctly.

Searching titles for 'Gladiator' does show the film listed.

Any ideas why this might happen?

Thanks for your help and any suggestions.

What happens when you open Gladiator for editing, switch to Crew, then select Ridley Scott, press "Find Crew Member" and then right-click on his name on the left list and select "Show Credits"?

Does it show his other appearances?

another problem or scenario ..  is ( and I have had this problem with actors) ..  There is is more than one name in your  credit name list .. Example being on my behalf . .say I am looking for Tom Hanks  I may have 22 movies  but only 21 show up .. upon investigation I find I have  two Tom Hanks  in my cast  list  21 with yob  and wrong one (even the avatar is wrong or different) without YOB ..  I then have to edit my cast list but you can't just delete  because it is attached to one ( or more ) of your movies ..

I then have to remove the wrong name out of my movie cast list.. then go back into cast list remove the offender  then go back to the 'movie'  and add the right ( one ) name and it is then fixed ..

Question is then - How did that wrong name get in there to start with ??

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this but there only appears to be one 'Ridley Scott' in my Crew listing and no misspelling, etc.

I've just added a Blu Ray version of Gladiator and it shows up when I search for 'Ridley Scott'. Bizarre!
