Ken, I have not posted before wanted to say great work to you and yours!  I just downloaded and installed Mobile on a Samsung ip830w it is very good too.  I did have the same issue in loosing the data when overwriting PC. Saw the posts and understand it is corrected in 3.02, great, thanks!

So I have a bunch of profiles that state I should refreash the profile from the site, and accidently did on one for 24 Season One, Hit OK instead of CANCEL.  So the new profile is not as upto date as the one I had in my old 2.5 system.  So the question is, can or how do I restore one single profile from the database in 2.5 to the new database in 3.0?  Worst case I could re-enter the data but there is a lot of crew that is in my original.

Thoughts Ken or anyone.  Spent sometime trying to figure it our, including copying entire Crew from one and pasting to the other, not compatable so that did not work.

Thanks

Ken, Cheri, again thanks for all you work, the pricing that you have established is certainly more than fair and thanks for the roll over from 2.5 to 3.0 for not cost, although paying again would still have been worth it.  One possible suggestion, While REFRESH UPDATED PROFILES works well it might be very helpful to have a PREVIEW button on the dialog box that comes up if you dbl. click on profile to edit and there is a new profile online.  It would make things easier to see quickly and at least help me avoid hitting OK so quickly.  Just a thought.

You should be able to designate a single profile by using your 2.5 backup file and restoring from that.  It gives you the option of picking certain profile(s) or just dumping the whole thing at once.  Restore to the desktop, and then do whatever you do to make the handheld sync up with  the PC.

As a side note, the 24 season profiles are currently being updated with cast and crew per episode with dividers, so unless you have already done that, just wait until the next batch of updated profiles is ready to be downloaded and you should have even better data than before.

I recently supplied the child profiles for all five seasons of 24, using the data that we all supplied to Tom Gaines database of cast/crew split down into episode dividers per disc if its any help, you should find them under region 2, but since its the same cast, should only be a matter of download and change locality to your own.
All have been accepted. If you need to know the disc id's I can let you know them easily enough.

Thanks all, got it taken care of and nice to also know about Tom Gaines database, how is that accessed?

Thanks again.

I'd still be interested to know if Ken thinks the Preview under the dialog box that I mentioned would be a good idea or not.

Thanks again!

Tom's database can be accessed here
http://www.tom-gaines.de/
also included on the page tools to view / edit this data etc. He is currently working on a version compatible with DVDProfiler V3., as the tools were written mainly for V2.4 / 5. But the TV Series data has been upgraded for use in V3.
