I have just begun using DVDProfiler 3.0.  I have restored my collection of over 1800 DVDs.  I love the new look and services but I have been experiencing some bugs. (I believe)

Personalization Data

Once a DVD is added to the library I cannot change the Personalization data.  I make the change on the Modify Personal Data dialog and hit OK but the data does not change.  Worse than that I think for some data elements like the "Purchased Date" it changes the info for a different disk normally near the highest Collection Numbers.  I am going to hold off on changing Personalization data until this is fixed.  Changing Tags does seem to work though and I can remove the DVD from my collection and reenter the Personalization during that process and it works.

Online Collection

Many of my DVDs do not show up in my Online Collection.  They are simply just missing.  I have the Show Adult titles turned on so it is not that.

Changing UPCs

I have begun to fix my UPCs that did not convert.  During some of the changes (not all) it will change the UPC of the DVD next to it in the collection.

These are the main problems I am having but not all.  Let me reiterate that I love the look of the product but I am concerned about the future of my database.  I have already added about 50 titles to the 3.0 database so I have not way of completely going back to 2.5.  The concern is that I know much of my personalization data for some DVDs has been changed incorrectly and I don't know which ones they are due to the nature of the bug.  I hope some fixes get implemented soon.

You're not alone, I have noticed all those bugs you mentioned. Pretty annoying, to say the least. The look and feel of DVD 3.0.1 is great, but those little bugs are really annoying.

Thanks for the support Spartacus.  Do you by chance know how long it takes the developers to get a bugfix out.  Do they try to accelerate the process if the bugs are serious like I believe these are or are we going to have to wait 6 months

With regards to titles not showing up it is because they have not been submitted by anyone yet.

Please jump in and submit anything you find missing.

There has been one update already since the site went live less than 2 weeks ago. The next is on the way from what we have been told. I'm sure it won't be 6 months.

I'm a little confused by the last post.  By missing in the Online Collection I mean I have added them to my collection, they are obviously in the Online Database because a profile gets downlioaded.  But,  when I upload them to MyProfiler they do not show up on my Online Collection webpage for other surfers to see.

Check your settings for Adult. If NR = Adult and Allow Adult Titles is not ticked in your online preferences they will not show up.
