| Posted: | | | | One of my favorite authors is running a character contest for his new book which comes out on May 19. To promote the book, he created a trailer for it, which almost looks like it could be a movie trailer. For the contest, the top 50 people to get people to view the trailer will become a character in the next installment of the series. As of last Friday’s tally, I’m sitting right at 50 (out of about 120 and counting). So, I’m asking for everyone’s help to click on the link on bottom and view the trailer (yes, I know we can embed videos here, but the contest rules specify no embedding) and boost my numbers. No purchase required, just a simple view of the trailer. What’s the book about? The title is Meg: Hell’s Aquarium, the 4th book in the series in which Megalodon sharks (think a 60+ ft Great White with a temper, for those unfamiliar with them) still exist in today’s world. I don’t think I need to spell out what that could mean other than to say it wouldn’t be pretty! What do I get out of it? If I’m still in the top 50 at the end of the contest, I’d become a character in the next Meg book, which means I’d likely end up as shark bait. The author runs these contests every time he publishes a new book…sometimes your character can be somewhat major, sometimes it’s minor, but either way it’s a neat little reward for loyal fans. So, please, help me out by simply viewing this trailer on my YouTube page here: Meg: Hell’s Aquarium. Thanks in advance! PS – I did get permission from Gerri to post this, in case anyone thinks this violates forum rules. | | | My phpDVDprofiler collection | | | Last edited: by Eagle |

| Posted: | | | | Clicked and, yea, it is an interesting trailer. | | | No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever. There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom. Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand. The Centauri learned this lesson once. We will teach it to them again. Though it take a thousand years, we will be free. - Citizen G'Kar |

| Posted: | | | | Read the first one which i really likes, but didn't realize there were more. BTW, wasn't Jan de Bont supposed to direct a movie based on the first book. I vaguely recall seeing a trailer quite some time ago.
