| Posted: | | | | Every October I have a huge horror/Halloween month long marathon. This has become such a huge undertaken since every year I attempt to be my person best. At this time my personal best is from 2 years ago. when I watched.... Movies: 100 TV Eps: 45 Other: 4 ( This one from last year) So now... since to beat my personal best I would need to watch 101 movies, 46 TV Eps. & 5 other (Other is usually documentaries and shorts)... I would need to prepare myself which means I must really be in the mood to watch some serious horror by the time the month comes. That is not usually a problem since horror is my favorite genre... but that is A LOT of shows! So in the recent few years I been abstaining from horror for a little while before October so I am really in the mood for it when the time comes. And a couple of us on another board decided to start this as of now. That means... I will not watch any more horror movies/TV Series/Shorts... what-have-you... until October 1st. The last horror I watched was the movie Good Against Evil which I watched the 20th of this month. So as of today I am already 9 days horror free. I really have to stop these spur of the moment decisions so I can watch a few before I stop! So lets see... June = 10 Days July = 31 Days Aug = 31 Days Sept = 30 Days That means I will be attempting to abstain from horror for 102 Days. Now the only question remains is... will I make it? | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I think first of all we'd have to define what a "horror movie" really is. E.G.: while most people (especially of the female persuasion) consider "Titanic" to be a great romantic movie, for me it was sheer horror having to watch it. | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?
