A new problem with a DVD title "as the cover". There is clearly only one S for Nun and Gun. Following rules, it is forbidden to add anything to what is on cover (remember "T4xi", and not "Taxi 4"), so we cannot enter the "real" title...

In a logical world the "S" is use only for "gun" considering where he is on the front cover (I think we use this for a DVD title), but logic and DVDP doesn't always go together...

I think you are reading too much of it into the rule personally

As far as adding things goes, having the correct title in this case is not adding things

In the case of "T4xi"  That is what is on the DVD title (T4xi) so calling it "Taxi 4" is indeed re-interpreting it and adding since you are adding letters that do not exist.

Having the two lines share an S because they just wanted to graphically do it that way is common and in other cases not interpreted as one letter.

I agree with Scooter. Personally I would enter this as "Nude Nuns with Big Guns".

Just to defy the conspiracy of distributor companies to make life unnecessarily complicated for DVD Profiler users: Nude Nuns with Big Guns

I don't see the need to cater for every "artistic" whim they come up with.

Nude Nuns With Big Guns (spine confirms it).

If it was written back to front and upside down would we type it that way?

Simply resolved by just reading the title out loud. You get the same answer whether reading the front or the side. Here is one case where common sense also makes sense.

How very "you" to left out the most obvious option.  We all already know that you don't like the "Take Title from cover rule".

Common sense and the online database are two different things...

Common sense is the 2 "s", but by the rule it's one "s" (Use the title from the front cover.).

That suck but this is what it is and a poll won't change that...

I would vote but you left out the obvious option.

You obviously consider the actual title to be 'Nude Nuns with Big Guns' because you used it in the thread title.

The big 'S' is a stylistic choice and should be entered as two letters - as it is read.

If, for design reasons, there was no title at all on the cover would we enter nothing?
