I haven't tried it, but it seems someone already created an Android version. See the first post in Mobile Technical Support.

Well to get to the heart of the post, I purchased DVD Profiler, because I liked it, used the product for my T-Mobile Dash (Windows Phone), and would gladly pay for an android app, if the app worked. As a matter of I purchased a piano app that runs circles around the one for the IPad just today.  Android users buy apps, or at least most of us do.  He should design one and he could the cloud if needed.  Shame and I'll bet you good money he writes one for the new windows 8.

I have wanted a Kindle for ages...but I held off for the Kindle Fire to be released in the UK.

Why?

Because I wanted to be able to access the internet and because Ken announced that he was working on an Android version of DVDP.
So, I got a tablet, eReader  a lot cheaper than an iPad and will soon have an android version of DVDP. What more could I want?

Before anyone jumps down my throat...I don't have a problem with Apple. I just can't afford the inflated prices for their products.

I purchased DVDPROFILER over two years ago. At that time I wrote a letter and Emailed it to DVDPROFILER. They said a Mobile app was in the works and would be available VERY soon!! That was 2 years ago!!!!! PLEASE define SOON??????? WHEN IS SOON???? I like the computer application thats why I purchased it! But knowing what I know now I would have found another Aplication with a ANDRIOD APP. How can you ignore the fastest growing market for so long??? And why was I lied YES LIED to over 2 years ago??? I am getting upset just thinking about it!!!

Take a deep breath for a second! There is an iPhone application, and while that clearly isn't Android, it IS a mobile app, which is what you have stated you asked about. I agree that there should be an Android app, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they lied to you. There are more calm and concise ways of stating your questions in the future, too! Just something to keep in mind.

For those still wanting an Android App, according to this post, Ken is focusing on it now.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

Wonder what focusing on the Android version now means.  Does that mean development is just beginning or was development already in the works but was temporarily postponed due to the iOS 2.0 release?  If it's the former then SOON could be a very long time from now.

Ken, if you need a beta tester I'll be more than happy to test the Android version for you.

Guess Invelos wasn't so focused on the Android app after all.

Feels like an eternity for the release of the app. Been looking forward to it. I'm a little surprised that an established company such as this would take so long to please it's customers. Ready to buy!!!

Hello,

I have a doubt while reading your message, you are aware that the official application for Android have been release already isn't it?

Then do so.
Available at GooglePlay and Amazon App Store
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

If he just looked at the products tab at the top of the page - then the android app isn't available yet. Only three products are shown - PC, Windows Mobile and IOs version

Yes, but it might be a good start to look in an available Android-Forum instead of nagging in the iOS-Forum.

As I have been unaware of the app being made available elsewhere, I appreciate the info. Silly me just thought to buy from the website, where I purchased the program from. Thinking it's not available due to the lack of presence on there product page isn't exactly ignorant. For those of you with helpful input, I say thank you and those with sarcastic criticism, I say it's obvious I don't spend the time on these forums you do. I just update the profiles.

PS I noticed there isn't an emoticon that give the middle finger, perhaps we should add that!!!
